The Brief

Drive customer engagement and brand awareness through a fun, interactive slot machine game themed around Castle Tank. The campaign is designed to increase user interaction, collect valuable customer insights, and enhance loyalty through rewarding gameplay.

We used our SAB Tank Beer mechanic to seamlessly distribute physical merchandise prizes to players by integrating prize allocation directly into the redemption process. Each outlet was assigned stock and tracked through the system, ensuring real-time accountability. Players collected prizes at participating outlets, which were required to report each redemption, enabling precise inventory control and transparent reporting on every item distributed.

Activation

This gamification campaign encouraged customer engagement by using table talkers with QR codes. To participate, customers needed to buy 2x Castle Tank Beers and then scan the QR code, which directed them to an interactive game. By playing, they earned a chance to be entered into a draw for a grand prize as well as physical merchandise. This approach boosted interaction, increased dwell time, and enhanced brand engagement while driving excitement around the rewards.
